Okay, maybe Tiana, Ship's Caretaker technically has feathers, but it isn't feather. The wealth of pacifism effects in magic seemed like a prime target, especially since many of them can exile the creature under them. The point of the deck is to continuously remove your opponents creatures with these spells while drowning them in the best card advantage boros can muster: enchantresses.
