This is an aggressive commander deck which typically wins by equipping Aurelia with whatever sword offers her the most protection and then attacking for commander damage. There are a variety of equipment tutors to find the most appropriate sword for the situation. In a slower and trickier game, Sunforger can be used to tutor for a small toolbox of defensive and aggressive spells.

There are also several cards to give extra combat steps, such as Godo, Bandit Warlord and Waves of Aggression. Blink effects such as Cloudshift and Legion's Initiative can also be used with Aurelias attack ability to create a third combat step.

The deck runs a moderate amount of protection for Aurelia, since she tends to get hated off the board once she starts attacking.

Finally, there are a few other creatures that can be used as heavy hitters, in the event that Aurelia is hated off the board enough that she becomes difficult to cast.
