Volrath, the Shapestealer Sultai EDH

-1/-1 counters theme to support his copying ability.

So lots of cards which put -1/-1 counters on creatures, especially ones which can hit multiple creatures at once (e.g. Black Sun's Zenith + Contagion Engine + Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons ). Then a few payoffs for putting -1/-1 counters on creatures (Nest of Scarabs + Obelisk Spider for example). Doubling Season of course is in there.

Then a good bit of ramp (37 land + 13 ramp), some flexible removal (Assassin's Trophy + Casualties of War for example), some card draw/card advantage and then a couple of fun and/or I WIN NOW cards. (Bribery + Rise of the Dark Realms for respective examples)
