Easy Boros deck with some "Exert" creatures from the Amonkhet block.

Exerting a creature with Exert means it won't untap on your next turn. But that doesn't matter if it doesn't even tap in the first place! enter: Always Watching !! (you can also put Brave the Sands...)

Following the Exert drawback, there are also four copies of Light the Way to untap a creature, probably surprising an opposing attacker at the same time! It can also save one of our permanents from removal, or make Esper Sentinel bigger, which matters!

Augusta, Dean of Order   is a Human which can untap our creatures the moment they exert! (order her triggered ability first, so it can resolve last) Her flipped version can also loot, which may come in handy.

Wings of the Cosmos could be a Light the Way alternative, as it can push damage through ground blockers (casting it on an exerted Glory-Bound Initiate will feel nice)

I added some out-of-flavour Chandras for a bit of card ardvantage. Chandra, Pyromaster is also another alternative here, instead of Chandra, Fire Artisan. The first one can prevent a creature from blocking, but when she does the "card advantage thing" she doesn't increase her loyalty, making her a bit more vulnerable.

It's a relatively simple deck focused on the combat step, made a little more powerful than jank, thanks to Esper Sentinel and the Human subtheme.

Seems ideal for new players, too!
