2nd major deck change —Sept. 22, 2018
The deck was feeling quite weak as it was. It was too dependent on the opponents' creatures plus it was just too slow, most times I would have only Toshiro in play while trying to ramp for the bigger dudes. As such I decided to "rebuild" the deck, this time more focused on sacrificing my creatures for value and get them back. This also helped me to reduce the average CMC of the deck, hopefully making it faster. I also included some infinite combos which I was against before, but during my absence all summer my playgroup improved the decks which are now quite stronger, making my main deck feel even weaker so I had to step up my game aswell, and since I was already focusing the deck on sacrificing creatures I included those combos aswell.

My only problem with the deck is that most of the instants are just killing creatures which triggers your commander again. I think some more utility instants could go the distance in this deck because a lot of creatures are dieing.

Well, you have a lot of single target removal, so maybe more instants that remove more than one creature like Curtains' Call, Perilous Predicament, Vona's Hunger, and Gang Up is pretty cool and political so it can be highly effective at creating someone else as the archenemy. Then there is just more utility like card draw through Bone Harvest or Dark Bargain. Then there is a lot of just assorted utility like Burden of Greed, Makeshift Mannequin, Tainted Strike or Cabal Ritual and friends.

Since you were so helpful to me I wanted to suggest something else. I found out on accident while playtesting that you can do infinite sac/reanimation of Toshiro with Ashnod's Altar + Oathkeeper, Takeno's Daisho . Might be worth trying out since it's an instant kill with Blood Artist or Falkenrath Noble.
