Merfolk can why not vamp?

I currently have a net decked Merfolk deck but have had a thing for vampires since i started magic (which really wasnt that long ago). So my thought was if a tribal merfolk deck can do good with Aether Vial why cant other tribals? So to start i tried to find as many mana similar vampires that gave +1+1 to eachother since its the same thing that fishies do. The plus side i found is that some of them are in fact counters so when th 'buffer' dies the counter stays, the down side is that the whole islandwalk thing isnt a thing.Otherwise Lightning Bolt is in because why not.. I was also thinking Apostle's Blessing for protection but ran out of room..

So any help or replacements for cards would be great! Thanks guys!
