First off, its called Viagra, because of the old, broke-dick cards, which are great in casual play--especially free-for-all. Of course, for obvious reasons, any deck called Viagra, should have exactly 69 cards. I have used some version of this deck for about 15 years.
The deck has 24 land cards, 8 creatures that produce mana, and a Sol Ring. 5 cards directly increase card draw or mana, or fetch land.
The Elvish Pipers are an ode to the old Piper decks--its a great way to bring in killer creatures. Defense of the Heart does the same. Academy Rectors put enchantments on the battlefield. Enlightened tutors help me to draw enchantments into my hand.
The Mirari's Wakes are an ode to the old Wake decks. The provide extra mana and +1/+1. I have found that Garruk, can be a game-winner with his beasts, especially when he goes ult. Ajani always helps out with counters--I even got the 100 points a couple of times.
Akroma, Archangel of Thune, and Baneslayer angels are the shock troops. Plus I get some life gain.
You don't see the Wish cards too much anymore, but I use them to access special cards from the sideboard. Emrakul is obviously the most lethal if possible.
Eternal Witness lets me pull an important card from the graveyard and replay it.
I only have one board wipe, but he still leaves me something. The O Rings let me spot remove any permanent, not just creatures. I would love to include some swords, or seal of cleansing, or qasali Pridemage, if I had room. Sometimes I ish for the old sterling grove to protect enchantments.
I love tweaking decks, and I welcome all suggestions from Magic players.
