The premise of the deck is using -1/-1 (counters or otherwise) using Vhati il-Dal's ability to kill opposing creatures.

I am trying to find ways to untap him as often as possible to machine gun down enemy creatures. Many of my creatures benefit from creatures dying on all parts of the battlefield. I have included a recursion theme to offset some of the -1/-1 shenanigans.
