This is a work in progress Golgari deck, where I am trying to do something a little different from using Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord as a combo engine. I would appreciate any suggestions on ways to improve it, especially budget ones!

This deck is built around the idea of controlling the board until I can get one of two instant win creatures to connect. Without board sweepers, it is Vhati il-Dal that I am going to use to keep killing off my opponents vital creatures, either in combat, or by using effects that can reach across the board, mainly by dealin a point of damage or by inflicting -1/-1 counters on creatures.

A strong Enchantments subtheme runs through this deck, to give me both evasion for my game winners and to fuel my pingers.

Effects with Board Reach:

Orc Sureshot: I will be playing a lot of creatures, helps Vhati il-Dal

Korozda Gorgon: Lots of +1/+1 counters in this deck, so lots of -1/-1 counters can be generated.

Doomwake Giant: 16 Enchantment cards in the deck mean that I should get plenty of ways to use his Constellation ability.

Last Laugh: Plenty of sacrifice effects in this deck to fuel this, plus this triggers Constellation.

Blackcleave Goblin + Viridian Longbow : This gives an infect creature the ability to deal damage at range.

Game Winners:

Vraska the Unseen: Her ultimate allows me to kill in one hit, plus gives me three chances to do so.

Phage the Untouchable: She is a one hit kill, and reasonably tough to remove. Not easy to recur, but possible.

Sorin Markov Both his first two abilities combine to produce a slow win con, but it will win eventually if I keep him alive.
