Varolz, the Scar-Striped is definitely my favorite golgari general, since he can sacrifice creatures for 0 cost. Hence, "Varolz-on-a-Stick" with his 0 cost sacrificing can get pretty out of control. Scavenge is an added plus, so I've added a couple cards such as Death's Shadow and Phyrexian Dreadnought, although I mainly built the deck around sacrificing my own creatures to keep opponent's creatures off the board completely.

Dredge and discard are big components of the deck as well to get my graveyard full of creatures for Living Death, Garruk, the Veil-Cursed   , Liliana Vess, etc...

Some cool reanimator spells: Dread Return, Animate Dead, Living Death, Victimize (my personal favorite of the bunch), Sheoldred, Whispering One, Doomed Necromancer, Whip of Erebos , Hell's Caretaker, Reanimate.

The "sideboard" is cards that are often too powerful/annoying to play against, so I don't use them when playing among friends.

My "Maybeboard" is filled with both cards I have been taking out and exchanging with other cards in the deck, and some less powerful cards I have at my disposal that I put in when playing my friends.
