Sideboard

Maybeboard

This deck aims for a quick and brutal win. Although most people seem to hate infect, it is still a viable way to win fast. Scavenge your infect creatures or your commander and swing for lethal damage.

Reassembling Skeleton + Bloodghast keep your commander on the battlefield (Varolz can almost survive anything and can be cast again or reanimated easily)
If you put your infect stuff on the battlefield simply make sure to have the commander online... otherwise you might gonna have a bad time against blue (lost to my own skithiryx once ...). Therefore added Homeward Path.

After playtesting and piloting the deck especially in 1vs1 matches (with french banlist) I tried to give the deck a faster start. Therefore I've put in a lot of elves to outrace my opponent. The part after this is quite difficult to manage. You have to keep your opponent in check with Braids, Cabal Minion or other control elements to prepare your kill --> Control until you can one shot your opponent with commander damage, infect creatures or cards like Tainted Strike,Solidarity of Heroes (Don't waste the scavenge cards, otherwise the game will become long...). Infect creatures create a lot of pressure on your opponents. You can buff them easy with dryad arbor and low power creatures for big results. Your opponent will usually not know when you have Solidarity of Heroes or Become Immense in your hand which is a nice combat trick. The deck runs best with Gaea's Cradle and Bazaar of Baghdad but I play those two only online (I will make a separte list during the next days).

I play a hardcore version of the deck on xmage and a more budget friendly one in real life. Right now I move cards from maybeboard (mostly what I already order) to sideboard (sideboard= was in a former version of the deck but has not proven strong enough). Next cards I'll order Abrupt Decay, Bayou, Berserk, Cavern of Souls, Damnation, Gaea's Cradle, Liliana of the Veil, Marsh Flats, Volrath's Stronghold, Twilight Mire, Wasteland so mostly an even stronger mana base. Maybe Thrun, the Last Troll.

I hope you like the deck :)
