Creature (1)

From the moment I saw Splendid Reclamation I thought to myself "Man, I bet I could make a sick combo deck around that." So this is my second attempt at said sick combo deck.

The goal of this deck is to win with a Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle combo kill. This can be achieved through 3 steps.

Step 1. Use your enablers to mill or discard the dredge cards.

Step 2. Use dredge to put as many lands as possible, including Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, into the graveyard.

Step 3. Use Splendid Reclamation to put all the Valakuts and all the other lands onto the battlefield simultaneously and get a 1-turn kill. Alternatively, if you can't find Splendid Reclamation, you can use Bring to Light as a back-up win con.

Faithless Looting: this is probably the most effective enabler in the deck. It helps you dig for your win-cons when you need them, discard your dredgers if you have them in your hand, or double dredge instead of drawing. The only downside to this card is that you can't discard your dredge cards before drawing.

Tormenting Voice: Though this card allows you to dig as far as Faithless Looting, it has a couple things that make it worse. First and foremost, it costs 2 mana. Second, though this one is only situationaly worse, you only discard 1 card. It does beat out Faithless Looting in that you discard first before you draw.

Thought Scour: This card is weaker than the first two because of the fact that you don't have control over what goes in the yard and because it costs , which isn't as well supported as . It does still do a good job in allowing you to dredge or dig for cheap though.

Insolent Neonate: This is probably the weakest of the enablers, though it still fulfills an important roll. It allows you to to do what Faithless Looting and Thought Scour don't, which is discarding a dredger, then dredging using that dredger. This often makes for a very efficient turn 1.

Golgari Grave-Troll: The most effective dredge target. If you have an option for which card to throw in the yard, this is target number 1.

Stinkweed Imp: Target number 2 for dredging. Not much more to say about this card, aside from the fact that it makes for a decent blocker if worst comes to worst.

Life from the Loam: This is the worst dredge target since it only hits 3 cards. It does have some utility though, since it can help get the right land from the graveyard for Thought Scour or Bring to Light.

Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle: This is what makes your opponent go "BOOM". Without this card, there is no way to win. Keep in mind though, that in order to win with a single Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle you need 7 mountains in the graveyard (assuming your opponent is at 20 health).

Splendid Reclamation: The card that inspired the deck, this is how you win turn 4. If you have a Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle and 7 mountains in the graveyard, you have the win. Keep in mind, the more Valakuts you have in the yard, the easier it is to get the win.

Bring to Light: One word: Redundancy. That's all this card really is. Just in case you can't find a Splendid Reclamation, this card acts as another playset (assuming you still have one in the deck).

Updates Add

So with the death of the grave troll, I had to add Golgari Thug in its place. We'll see how this works out. Hopefully it doesn't ruin the deck.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions before, I'm wiping the comments now that the deck has seen a big change due to the ban.
