With a surprising number of "hate" based Planeswalkers coming with WAR, I thought it would be interesting to try putting them to work in Modern. The best way to keep my own things alive is through locking the board and allowing Planeswalkers to sorta do their thing, and the walkers help with that. We are essentially an amalgamation of Boros-style prison strategies and Azorius Control. Suggestions and questions welcome!

Ashiok, Dream Render turns off Fetches and other tutors, valuable tools in Modern. Also serves as mainboarded hate against graveyard decks.

Gideon of the Trials nullifies creatures and can protect us with his emblem all the while acting as a potential wincon.

Teferi, Hero of Dominaria because stronk high end card.

Jace, the Mind Sculptor is a signature piece of controlling gameplans, helping us make sure our opponent doesn't hit their answers.

Karn, the Great Creator very simply allows us to wish in our Mycosynth Lattice and just establish an asymmetrical hard lock.
