This is the (tweaked) list I Day 2'd with at GP Pittsburgh, 2015, and also got lucky to be on camera with!

If you'd like to see, I've started streaming! The only deck I own online is this one!

A deck is never set in stone (and that's why this game is so much fun).

I'm cutting the reigns of my hope that one day I'll make a 3rd color splash. No Lingering Souls or Dark Confidant (even though Souls is soooo sweet with sky hussar...), no Rhox War Monk or Loxodon Smiter, and no Mantis Rider or Avalanche Riders.

To this end I'm switching 2 of the fetches to complete the playsets of Seachrome Coast and Hallowed Fountain. The other 2 will remain for now, because I really don't want to run Adarkar Wastes and I want untapped lands. I'm speculating they might change to Celestial Colonnade for when we REALLY have to GRIND, and if the absence of fetching leads us to flooding out more.

To go with that, we should theoretically be having more mana on board more often. Which is great to go along with the following: Basilisk Collar has overstayed its welcome. Like many things, it's too cute... It was so sweet as a one-of, but it's way too bad to play more than 1...which makes the sweet moments less often...and that's inconsistency.

I'm replacing the collar with another 1-of, although I thought about a Mainboard Elspeth (cuz she's gorgeous and glorious). i'm testing with Ajani, Caller of the Pride. +1/+1 counters makes thalia favorably block wild nacatl, and a flying-double-striking-basically-anything is great. It can add counters to our mutavaults and in the end, will help us grind OR close games out. Where basilisk collar was good when our opponent was forced into creature combat with us, ajani is good whether we intend to attack, block, or even sit around.

The Ajani doesn't become a waste of mana by lightning bolt like Basilisk Collar. They both get Abrupt Decayed. Ajani costs more mana at first but I'm hoping that the mana base will work out.

Lastly, I'm playing around with Relic of Progenitus over Rest in Peace. RiP doesn't play well with Skaab Ruinator and I still have hope for him. Relic might end up sucking because our opponent's might bring in Stony Silence or Artifact hate just because we already have Aether Vials I guess, but I'm going to find out the hard way. I also don't think there's any matchup where we want to bring in our own Relic AND our stony silence except maybe Lantern Control.

TL;DR -2 Flooded Strand, +1 Seachrome, +1 Hallowed Fountain. -1 Basilisk Collar, +1 Ajani, Caller of the Pride. -2 Rest in Peace +2 Relic of Progenitus
