Sideboard

This is an odd spin on UW Eldrazi & Taxes looking to utilize Elder Deep-Fiend as another large threat to stonewall opponents and allows for large swings in the game's tempo. Theoretically this card can be a large beater that contends with even the best of modern's creatures while being able to be played defensively (large body to block with, tapping down attackers), offensively (large body to attack with, tapping down blockers), or as tempo by tapping down opposing lands. It also meshes well with the mana we normally hold up for Spell Queller when we are using that sideboard plan and Eldrazi Displacer . Another more unique part of this deck is that it is a little more creature heavy, relying on Reflector Mage to fill in for Path to Exile which is the staple removal card for D&T decks. Having more creatures (especially 3 drops) lends well to our Elder Deep-Fiend plan by having a more robust suite of creatures to rely on.
