Made this Mill Deck into a more control focus with the win condition of milll. Also added Sphere of Safety for the pillowfort effect. It has been really effective in my playgroup.

First off, i noticed you splashing white for only one card, Supreme Verdict , and while that's a great card to splash for, i think there is a little more you could include because you're using white.

I don't know what kind of a budget you had in mind for this deck, but Oblivion Ring s and Detention Sphere s are a must if you plan to use white as well. Terminus (even though you are using creatures) could save your butt in the aggro department. Azorius Charm is so widely used, and for a reason. The versatility of the card allows you to do so much. The only thing the card wouldn't do for you is the lifelink part, the other two sides of that card help you a lot.

Which brings me back to the creatures. Any aggro deck is going to have Pillar of Flame or Searing Spear on hand. So your Fog Bank s are not going to put up the defense you wish they would. I would suggest dropping the Hover Barrier s and the Undead Alchemist s too. Its a great idea to use them, but i feel in this meta they are a card that is only good on paper, and not the field.

Curse of the Bloody Tome , Sands of Delirium and Jace, Memory Adept are your strongest cards in this deck, and if you can figure out how to play off them, or strengthen them to a higher degree, this deck can pose some serious problems to most players.

If you really wanted to use the defenders, consider Axebane Guardian . With all the mana at your disposal, imagine how much you could tap the Sands of Delirium for. Maybe even use Doorkeeper or card:Ludevic's Test Subject for another win condition.

Thanks! Vos_Is_Boss

Your one of the first people to actually give me some constructive criticism on my mill deck. Everyone I talk to just usually tells me to GTFO Mill will never do anything. I really like your point about the white splashing situation. When I first made the deck I had some Isperia's in there for extra draw but realized she was to slow so over time my white cards have dwindled.

Now that you've said it I am seeing the gap in the creature department. I've never thought about Axebane Guardian cause I was splashing white but the idea of going for a defender base army and hitting those huge mills with sands and jace in one turn is really appealing.

You've given me a lot to think about Vos I'm gonna work on changing this around when I get home from work. Thanks for taking the time! :)

Mill has always been the fun deck to play for me, no matter how good it is. I just cannot wait until Dimir comes out in gatecrash... i have this feeling... a sinking feeling... some kind of Mind Funeral esque shenanigans are going to be exploited...

Hey Chorster , I agree with Vos about the creature gap and the unfortunate truth like Vos mentioned is a Searing Spear to a Fog Bank is trouble. In my mill deck I used an element of control as far as keeping the opponents creatures tapped to make up for my lack of creatures, have you ever considered throwing in Sleep or Downpour ? Between those and Vapor Snag or Unsummon you should be able to have time to mill the heck out of your opponent. All in all though good looking bones here, good luck.
