So, Urza finally shows his face, and boy is he mean. Not only does he turn all artifacts into mana rocks, he randomly plays a card from your deck for 5 mana.
Mycosynth Lattice has a few interesting synergies despite the fact that it's a mono colored deck. Karn, Silver Golem lets me blow up land for 1 mana, Karn, the Great Creator locks the opponent down, and Ugin, the Ineffable just makes everything cheaper. Darksteel Forge would make everything of mine indestructible as well. Not to mention Shimmer Myr for flash, and Memnarch for stealing stuff, Mycosynth Golem for creature affinity, Desertion for counter-stealing, Unwinding Clock for untapping, and more mana rocks for Urza, Lord High Artificer .
Wurmcoil Engine , Blightsteel Colossus , and Metalwork Colossus are just large bodies that you can kind of cheat into play with Urza, Lord High Artificer turning all artifacts into mana rocks.
Kami of the Crescent Moon , Dictate of Kruphix , and Howling Mine let me get favor with other people for the political game of multiplayer, and just more card draw in blue is always a nice thing. Thought Reflection might paint a target on your head, but the extra card draw is worth it, especially when combined with Forgotten Creation .
I run the Snow-Covered Island s over normal islands just so I can use Marit Lage's Slumber . While I'm not quite sure if I'll ever get out Marit Lage, the scry on land drop is really nice. The scrying combined with Mox Opal , Worn Powerstone , Sol Ring , Gauntlet of Power , Mana Vault , Caged Sun , Thaumatic Compass  , and Urza, Lord High Artificer 's mana ability, I think running 36 lands is more than enough, even will all the big expensive guys in the deck.
Sword of Fire and Ice , Sword of Light and Shadow , Sword of Body and Mind , Sword of Feast and Famine , Sword of War and Peace , Sword of Truth and Justice , and Sword of Sinew and Steel are all extreme utility what with the protection qualities and sloughs of auxiliary abilities to choose from.
Cyclonic Rift , Crush of Tentacles , and Distorting Wake for board wiping along with 11 counter spells, (I am counting Nimble Obstructionist ) gives the deck a solid amount of control without too often leaving too many dead cards in hand.
All in all, I wanted to build a mono blue artifact deck with the new Urza, Lord High Artificer that I pulled with a bunch of old cards I've been collecting for years. It's a deck built around using the Tolarian Rule System for local tournaments. I would appreciate any input anybody has for the deck, as well as any criticisms.
