The flavor text for Negate perfectly encapsulates the theme of this deck. "Masters of the arcane savor a delicious irony. their study of deep and complex arcana leads to such a simple end: the ability to say merely yes or no".

This is a budget standard deck I'm building to get back into the FNM scene. I took the basic idea for the deck from the Manasource's budget UR Drake deck. It's the same basic idea, preventing your opponent from playing spells in the early game with Censor, Horribly Awry . Then cleaning up the board with Thing in the Ice   or Sweltering Suns and beating down with Curious Homunculus   Enigma Drake and Thing in the Ice  .

Dynavolt Tower is a separate control element that can allow you to burn your opponent or their creatures and generate energy for Harnessed Lightning.
