Newish player requests feedback to build competitive deck at FNM. There's a good mix of experienced and newish players each week. I feel I can settle into the middle each week and win 1 or 2 each time.

• Week 1 I brought BW Vampires that was too slow for Mardu Rush, Unblockable Merfolk, and an upgraded Constrictor deck. My Vamps put up a fight, going to a 3rd game each time, but didn't win.

• Week 2 I brought this UR Aggro Auras deck and did better. I scored a Win against BW Knights, but lost to Nissa-led Merfolk and a mirror Hazoret Aggro deck (topdeck battle in game 3).

So let's talk about the deck: I prefer Aggro and bought the Hazoret Aggro Challenger deck. I wonder if I can splice those pieces with Champion of the Flame and Valduk to get in harder and faster. I want to maintain a decent board state to take hits without losing my equipped bashers. I added Abrade, Lightning Strike, and Negate (Sideboard) but know I was vulnerable to removal.

Are there better cards to use (Consuming Fervor, Giant Spectacle, Forebear's Blade))? Would a Red-White Auras be stronger with Dub and removal like Cast Out and Ixalan's Binding? Or just go full-on equip and forget the removal?
