Slight Update —March 8, 2012
So I made some NON-PERMANENT changes to the deck in terms of where it is headed. I greatly appreciate how much feedback the deck has gotten and how great people's support for it is. I mainly reworked the sideboard after experimenting with it a little, and I changed the mana base and some cards to experiment with. If you want the original version let me know. Also I want to know what everyone thinks of the third Increasing Confusion i added. I was thinking it could help and I am going to test with it, but if all else fails I am just going to go back to the last version. Again thanks for the support and hopefully we can see this in the Top 8 somewhere!
Okay so I made some changes, and I am not entirely sure how they will turn out, but... I felt like white in the mainboard just for Day of Judgment wasn't very necessary. I changed up the mainboard though to include some alternate/ faster ways to mill my opponent out. Also, I added to the sideboard: Beast Within in case a planeswalker is a bit tricky; Witchbane Orb to go against burn decks... and then the cards necessary for Day of Judgment.
I am completely prepared to be told I am a moron for putting lands in my sideboard but whatever, the deck worked just fine before... these are just changes to hopefully make it even better, -_- or completely destroy it, but anyways, thanks for the assistance guys! :D

i like the changes, but i think you should consider putting in Archangel's Light (in your sideboard), i also think it is smart to sideboard lands (might want to consider Evolving Wilds

understood! perhaps minues a DoJ or glacial fortress in sideboard for an archangel's light and then just add two evovling wilds to the mainboard and remove to regular lands? idk, just some random ideas

my deck is very similar to this, i had some jace's to spare, so i made one. check it out? i may add the Jace's Erasure just for kicks. that would be super fun. upon further inspection...it's very...very similar O_O lol

Hey, I saw your deck before it got ubdated, and although I understand why you put Consecrated Sphinx in there, I kind of liked it better without him. The sphinx takes a little of the 'budget' part away (over here he's like 15,-, which is just about as much as the rest of your deck put together, barring duallands) and I liked the creatureless version. Also, as your only drop, he's going to be seeing instant hate vs blue/black.
Also I'm not a fan of Moonmist personally, I'd -1 and get another Beast Within in there to help against non-combat based decks.
Other than that, I still like the deck a lot, and I'll be building something very similar myself. +1 if I haven't already

Consecrated Sphinx is a 1 of because I can still pull him back with Noxious Revival and he is a decent threat if the game is taking too long.
Moonmist is good becuase it is a fog, sure you transform some wolves, but it doesnt matter cause the point of the deck is to have another fog anyways
thanks for the advice... and dear lord, why is it people find "ubdated" so funny :P
March 4, 2012 8:25 p.m.
because it is spelled wrong, i think, ubdated isn't in my vocabulary, it may just be me though, people i know and the dictionary tend to call it updated with a p, not a b, but that could just be me and the dictionary

You should run white mainboard and corrosive Gale sideboard

I am not sure, the deck is good without white guys, I see what you are saying, but even my first version, totally swept FNM since it is rogue and the meta almost everywhere is creature based wins... therefore, I see what you are saying, but in personal interest, I'm sticking with just a g/u mainboard, white in side for Day of Judgment

It is a good card but not really a viable choice in here, thanks for the feedback though :)

Have you considered Jace's Archivist? In my experience he works very well in tandem with the Sphinx and Jace's Erasure, though I'm not sure what you would take out ... Maybe divination?

I think the deck works very well with no creatures, considering game one at least they could have a bunch of creature removal stuck in their hand. Jace's Archivist is just another target. It does make some sense, though.

Maybe either mainboard or sideboard Undead Alchemist. In addition to them being milled, you get an army of zombies!

guys, point of the deck in general is to have no creatures, the Consecrated Sphinx should be thought of as an enchantment I guess, i probably will never win from attacking with him...

Been running this on magic online for a couple days. So many rage quits. Once you get a Rites of Flourishing out, it's pretty much gg. I heavily suggest an extra/many extra Beast Within, it is a game winner if the opponent has Planeswalkers. I love the deck, so +1 from me :)

Big thanks guys, I appreciate it! and ihlenfeldt, I agree, I was gonna take something out, but I can always sideboard in another if necessary so... idk lol

dont take this n a bad way but whats the reasoning behind lands in the sideboard...

Ponder in my opinion is more effecient in this deck however because it lets me filter through my deck to get a card I need giving 1/3 or 4 choices for 1 blue as opposed to two blind draws for 5
