My home-brew Derevi deck, open for suggestions! Please do not suggest fetch lands because I cannot get a grasp on one, too expensive :(

The deck contains a bit of control (Counterspells, and artifact/enchantment destruction) and guys hitting the opponent's face to get the Derevi, Empyrial Tactician trigger (Hero of Bladehold, Nacatl War-Pride, Sun Quan, Lord of Wu ).

Since double strike is OP in this deck (procs Derevi, Empyrial Tactician twice!), pairing evasive creatures with Silverblade Paladin is awesome, so is dropping True Conviction then attacking with Hero of Bladehold

The deck also contains a few infinite combos.

Infinite ETB triggers

Karmic Guide + Mirror Entity + Reveillark + Creature with ETB trigger (Acidic Slime or Derevi, Empyrial Tactician works especially well. Note the ETB creature needs to have a power less than or equal to 2!

When the 4 creatures are on the battlefield together, you activate Mirror Entity's ability for roughly a thousand times (or realistically as many times as u want) and X=0. Doing this, you sac Mirror Entity first, then the ETB creature, then Karmic Guide, and then Reveillark. As Reveillark leaves the battlefield, the trigger brings back Karmic Guide and the ETB creature and the Karmic Guide trigger brings back Reveillark. After that, you let the 2nd Mirror Entity trigger to resolve, do the same thing and tada, you get infinite ETB triggers! With this, you can destroy all artifacts/enchantment/lands with Acidic Slime, and of course infinite mana with the same untap thing but with Basalt Monolith or Gilded Lotus.

Infinite Mana of Any Color

Deadeye Navigator + Derevi, Empyrial Tactician + Gilded Lotus = Infinite mana of any colour!

Pair Derevi, Empyrial Tactician with Deadeye Navigator, then activate Gilded Lotus for blue. Use UU to blink Derevi, Empyrial Tactician, untap Gilded Lotus with ETB trigger, pair with Deadeye Navigator and repeat! One mana is yielded everytime this is used so infinite mana is generated. Use this with Blue Sun's Zenith to deck out opponent, Sphinx's Revelation to draw and gain infinite life or Mirror Entity for creatures that are infinite/infinite!
