This deck uses the combo of Freed from the Real and Axebane Guardian to go infinite. Drift of Phantasms ties the entire combo together, as it gives you a way to tutor Freed from the Real, Axebane Guardian and Valakut Invoker.

Pyromatics gets around any potential counterspells since they are just additional copies placed on the stack. Train of Thought can let you draw your entire deck when you have infinite mana as well. Kaervek's Torch can be hard cast for lethal without infinite combo.

I like diversifying the win conditions as it makes it harder to sideboard against and gives you more outs to play around potential answers your opponents may have.

Brainstorm is amazing in this deck. you have 12 shuffle effects with 4x Drift of Phantasms, 4x Gatecreeper Vine and 4x Evolving Wilds.

Preordain also lets you dig and can get rid of cards put on top with Brainstorm as well
