Introduction and variants

This is a somewhat competitive modern deck. It won't win any event, but in my experience, it looses as many games as it wins. Plus, everybody will tell you it's so cool to bring allies to a modern event. The deck as a few variants. Here is my most aggressive variant for competitive play. Sideboarding in Mirror Entity and more removal creates a more midrange variant. In casual play, there is the self mill variant, with 4 Halimar Excavator, 4 Jwari Shapeshifter, 4 Return to the Ranks and possibly Lurrus of the Dream-Den. Another casual play variant includes Eldrazi Displacer and/or Sea Gate Loremaster and/or Kazuul Warlord. Note that Eldrazi Displacer requires 4 copies of Brushland.

Lands

A count of 20 lands is chosen for the following reasons. Most spells have mana value of 2 and Harabaz Druid is a huge mana dork. Plus, a higher concentration of creatures is desirable to trigger allies as much as possible.
