One by one,Hand in hand,We all BAND together!

Here is the hyper powered all star band with a sour face. Designed to confuse and disorient your opponents with a low to the ground and straight-forward approach. The game is warfare and we shall be attacking and defending at all times. Fire the catapults!

Basic Strategy: Lay a bunch of creatures, stack them up and attack every turn. Banding allows you to ensure you only ever trade favorably, if you trade at all. Anthems are just gravy.

Fun stuff:Coalition Honor Guard + Standard Bearer , get either of those out and watch anyone without a kill spell just boggle. I've had Derevi, Empyreal Tactician endlessly twiddle and seen voltron players cry as they can't lay their auras.

Godsend and Abu Ja'far when applied to a banding ball further complicates your opponents blocking choices because the band is almost always big enough to warrant atleast chump blocking. Throwing this in means the chances of you losing creatures in an attack approaches almost 0.

Philosophy: This is a light hearted and fun agro deck for EDH. It's also pretty cheap. Be sure to read up on banding beforehand as its one of those old and forgotten rules that isn't as bad as many make out.I tried to maintain the idea of the deck representing an army and many of the choices support that. However a few, such as Angel of the Dire Hour , are a necessary evil against other agro or creature based combos.

I will say that I have considered Akroma's Memorial for this deck and it seems like almost a no-brainer win condition. I made a conscious choice not to put it in as i'm not trying to overrun my enemies in one turn it's more about the theme of warfare and armies colliding. Obviously with the intention that this army wins... eventually.

Initial thoughts after playtesting:5/6/15:So, other white players are your best friends and worst enemies. Why? 'cause those anthems are global. Dragonscale General also really does some work in this as you can normally just swing with everything. Standard Bearer is just... insane. I never really thought too hard about this card and it was mostly there because it looked funny. This thing dominates the board and shuts down so many strategies. Definitely a card i'm going to get into my more serious commander decks.Aside from someone sweeping the whole field the tactic of the 'banding ball' works really well for keeping up the pressure by attacking each turn. Generally you'll get very little done as all they need do is chump block but it adds a sense of tension to the game because of the constant attacks which is great (Especially as my local meta is very combo heavy).
