When Niv-Mizzet Reborn was revealed as a teaser card for War of the Spark, I about fell out of my chair. Niv has always been my favorite character from Ravnica and Izzet has always been my guild. I started playing when RtR came out in 2013 and I immediately was drawn to the Izzet and their Parun.

This reprint is everything I ever wanted from a flavor perspective and I couldn't not complete my set of Niv-Mizzet cards.

This deck is focused on maximizing the value I get from NMR's ETB effect so I did my best to even out the cards from each guild. This definitely falls in the realm of a "good stuff" deck as it doesn't really have an over-arching strategy other than balanced guild representation. Dromoka, the Eternal, Faeburrow Elder, Knight of New Alara, Notion Thief, Soulherder and of course Omniscience have all acted as major win enablers in this deck. Knight of New Alara in particular makes Niv a Voltron threat.
