Okay, so you've got lots of good artifacts that give you a variety of synergies with your creatures, which you can already tutor. How about Arcum Dagsson for a bit of artifact tutor? Good synergy with Hanna too.

Are you cool with adding some Planeswalkers? They're considered legendary permanents as of Ixalan, right?

Since you'll probably be activating Sisay's ability a lot, there's Illusionist's Bracers and also Rings of Brighthearth . Might as well mention Mirari while we're at it, since it's also a possible target for Sisay.

Hey, how about Gerrard's Technicolor Dream Coat ? Eh? I think that's a pretty neat play... Prismatic Lace does the same thing, but can't be removed. Scuttlemutt is ramp that synergizes great with Sisay and puts a body on the board. I'd say drop Fellwar Stone for it, but the Stone can help get Sisay out Turn 3...

There's lots of legendary lands you can search for with Sisay. Academy Ruins is one options that gives you retrieval (and synergy with Dagsson). Dark Depths , Inventors' Fair , Minamo, School at Water's Edge , and Yavimaya Hollow are all other useful options too. Of course, lands tend to be $$$ expensive, so yeah...

Thank you for the suggestions KongMing but I'm aware of almost all of them and most of them are just way out of budget. The color-switchers are definitely not something I thought of so thanks a ton for that.

With a budget mana base a bit more of my utility slots are tied up in extra ramp. I also need to maintain a minimum threshold of legendary creatures to stay aggro and boost Sisay's power. So utility slots are tight and I want a good amount of legendary creatures for thematic/fun-factor reasons anyway.

This looks like a really fun Sisay build! I like the focus on powerful creatures, especially since legendary creatures usually are very powerful. I am actually building my version after taking apart my Captain Sisay and Muldrotha decks, since I love legendary cards and Magic story in general.

Are you looking for any suggestions on this deck?

DaringApprentice, thanks for the look! Glad you think it's cool. I haven't done much playtesting but all the pieces that are "supposed to" be in a deck are here so it should at the very least function. My Saskia deck certainly functioned but it had synergy and gas issues (and was a fair aggro deck anyway, putting it's power ceiling lower than I might like), which I think will be alleviated somewhat with Sisay.

If you have any cool suggestions I'd love to hear them but my list at the moment feels like the direction I want to go. I always take your suggestions to heart. Feels low on utility but I'm trying to have a bit of a toolbox-style deck like my (and most) Yisan, the Wanderer Bard deck (Fochlucan Lyrist -- (Yisan Elves)) so hopefully the effects on bodies keeps me in games. Not a lot of removal-legends except for like.. Visara the Dreadful , but it's all good. Maybe just make myself the threat and try to rebuild? Glad Sisay is 3 CMC and I'm ramping for fixing anyway. Balancing removal versus boardstate-growing is always tricky! Especially in five colors. Between all the card draw and reanimation stuff I have I hope I can grind out versus heavy removal. Sisay can always find OG Sisay who can find Urza's Blast and Yaegmoth's Offering which may be enough.

I wanted to run a shitload of 5-7-drop legends because they rock but I have a feeling curving out will be important. I also blew my budget so any expensive upgrades are many moons away :( We'll see if the deck needs beef at the top end or if all the synergy and buffs do the trick.

Some of my decks are built using almost entirely cards on hand and bulk-rares and some of my decks I make a big investment early. This deck is both! So excited. Bummed to see the foil price on Sisay, Weatherlight Captain but it's gotta be done! Preorder price this close to release for a foil commander probably won't drop from here. We'll see though--I'd pay $20 but I'm hoping to find cheaper.

I think that one good card for the deck would be Hero's Blade it can equip to Sisay for free and boost her power by a lot. It can also help bolster the power of the other legendary creatures.

Oh yeah! I had that one in my mental notes when I first made this list. Not sure what to cut though. Any thoughts?

I like this deck a lot. Always been a fan of the original Weatherlight crew and story. A D&D campaign I'm running has a lot of similar characters and themes, so it really resonates with me right now.

Let me know when/if you make major tweaks to the deck and I'll use a Feature Token on it.
