Undying scourge from the jankyard

Standard Dredge Jank UBR (Grixis)

Hedrix

Sideboard

This is a lovely little dredge deck I put together last night. Now be warned, this deck may suck... but that's ok! It's all about having fun right? .-.

Anyway on to the deck! So first thing is, we are wanting to throw our creatures(besides a few) into the graveyard, shocker I know. So to do that I decided to run a playsets of both vessel and reunion. Reunion let's you pitch 2 things you want ino the yard and get 3 cards, pretty goodl for this deck. Vessel is very similar, except we can't control what's going into the yard to as much of an extent as with reuniono. But still pretty useful I think. Then the 3rd piece of card dump is also one of our few removal cards, not only that but it can sweep the opponents board and leave all your guys alive! I know you're probably foaming at the mouth right now from how exciting that sounds, but please... contain yourself. Now, incase you have no idea what I'm talking about its Nahiri's Wrath. So you discard let's say 3 cards. A haunted dead a land and an Amalgam. So, now you get to deal 7 damage (4 from dead 3 from Amalgam) not split, not divided, just straight glorious 7 damage to 3 enemy creatures and or walkers! #rekt

So moving on to the creatures and fun ways you can use the cards presented to you. First I'd like to cover something I'm sure is on at least one person's mind when looking at this deck. "Well hedrix, how we supposed to play Prized Amalgam if we's playing jund?! Jund doesn't have blue!" You are very right, we do not have any blue. In fact this deck is so ballsy it didn't even feel like splashing that puddle just to be safe. Amalgam is one of your top picks for things to throw into the yard, if you have any discard spell in hand and Amalgam is also there well... I think you get what I'm saying.

Next there is eternal scourge. I really enjoy this card, now it may not be all that incredible 3/3 for 3 with no etb effect or anything like that is kinda meh right? Well luckily for us we found a good use for that bastard! So, things you can use Scourge for: 1. To bring back Scrounger and not have to exile something more useful to you. Then you can play Scourge again from exile! As long as Scrounger doesn't get exiled they will never die.... ever. 2. Lost legacy + Scourge. Yeah, so you target yourself with lost legacy and name eternal scourge. Next thing ya know you have 4 Scourge's ready to be played and you just drew 4 cards!

So what we are trying to do here is set up early turns where we have multiple Amalgams in the yard and then something we can bring back from the yard. I.e. Haunted Dead or Scrapheap Scrounger. Or you have a hand of 1 or more Amalgams and haunted dead in the grave yard. Discard x Amalgams put haunted dead into play pass turn. Suddenly there are 3+ creatures on the field waiting to dunk your opponent. Then you can go from there to set up an emerge with baconator of the provinces and most likely win! That's the plan at least

I have ishkanah in here becausearly well... I really like the card if I'm being honest. And I thought she'd be a nice mid game creature to play, to be honest I would really love to play blue in this. But I don't know if it would be better that green or red. Red has that discard that I personally think is amazing, green has vessel and some pretty damn good creatures to help win the game with. Let me know what you guys think, any ideas, suggestions, or insults are welcome. Thanks everyone.

Update: Took the green out for blue, more creatures that have graveyard interaction this away. Moved some old maindeck ideas to the board cause they dont seem as reliable as i had originally thought
