Under $50- Dimir Modern

I usually stick to Goblins or Eldrazi, but I've really wanted to try something different. So thus a Dimir Mill deck. I've played against these bad boys for the better part of my MTG career, so I wanted to try my hand at one. It's a modern legal and fifty dollars is a steal for modern decks nowadays.

The main (Creature) kill card is Consuming Aberration, getting progressively stronger as the game progresses. It's secondary effect is a nice bonus and can pump itself up.

I've replaced Mind Funeral with Mind Grind. They play practically the same, but with a $10 cheaper price tag for the play set, Mind Grind felt they way to go for the budget deck. Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker is basically Mind Funeral on a 2/4 body. It also tanks a bolt and has flying, making it hard to deal with once its hit the field.

The other two mill cards are Breaking and Mind Sculpt. While most Dimir Mill runs Glimpse the Unthinkable I thought that $140 for a playset was hardly budget. While Sculpt is worse, the 20 cent price tag makes a very budget option.

I've side boarded Relic of Progenitus to deal with any grave recursion decks. You could put Grafdigger's Cage if you wanted to spend a couple more bucks but I'm more partial to the permanent removal that Relic offers, plus the card draw if you really need it

Perplex and Psychic Strike are essentially the same card, but Perplex forces your opponent to make a potentially game altering choice while Stike offers a harder cancel with a few mill points. Perplex can also transmute into Pilfered Plans (for some draw and some mill points).

Duskmantle Guildmage plus Mindcrank makes for a potentially turn 4 infinite mill win condition, it's hardly the focus of the deck, but just another way to win.

Hedron Crab is a great one drop in any mill deck and you can sideboard in Wight of Precinct Six for a mid-game power house against creature heavy decks with its pseudo-Goyf ability. Notion Thief can shut down and sort of blue draw combos and you can always flash him in for a cheeky 3/1 blocker.

Bile Blight's good against token decks (obviously) and Death's Approach can be used to take out any pesky Tron baddies or Indestructible guys.

Circu, Dimir Lobotomist is essentially Haunting Echoes on a stick, both can be used to stop any sort of grave recursion, grave-to-deck shuffles such as Gaea's Blessing and Echoes can potentially cut someone's deck in half if they are running several playsets of cards.

Whispering Madness is a nice hand cycle and could potentially force someone to draw into nothing, decking them out.

If you guys have any sort of ideas or suggestions, don't be afraid to comment. But try to keep the costs down and give budget options when possible.
