This deck aims to stall out the game until I can win with Keranos, God of Storms, Cruel Ultimatum, Lavaclaw Reaches or Batterskull.

(INSTANTS)

Counterflux - A hard counter that is best against other control mirrors, and dominates storm.

Mana Leak - A great all-around counterspell that works best in the early turns of the game.

Remand - The definition of tempo, slows down your opponent and gives you a draw all for two mana.

Spell Snare - Counters many powerful spells in the format.

Electolyze - Value and tempo

Lightning Bolt - An automatic 4-of in any red deck, the best burn spell in the format

Terminate - Low cost creature removal that can get past cards like Thrun, the Last Troll

Think Twice - A good draw spell that can be reused later in the game.

Spell Pierce - Good against the control mirror, and most combo decks

Thought Scour - A good draw spell that can be used to fuel cards like Tasigur, the Golden Fang, Murderous Cut and Logic Knot

Murderous Cut - Usually a one-mana kill spell with all the cards in our graveyard

(PLANESWALKERS)

Jace, Architect of Thought - Provides protection for himself and a good draw engine.

(SORCERIES)

Crux of Fate - A good board wipe, upgrading to Damnation when I can

Anger of the Gods - A cheap board wipe that can take care of many creatures

Inquizition of Kozilek - Simple discard spells, hand disruption

Cruel Ultimatum - The basis of this deck, it is basically a better Sphinx's Revelation

(CREATURES)

Keranos, God of Storms - One of the wincons in this deck, provides draw and damage.

Taisugur, the Golden Fang - A great blocker, and can help with some spell recursion.

Batterskull - A great finisher, helps gain some life back
