So I just learned pEDH is a thing, and some ideas came to mind. First and foremost, NO WRATH. This means super clogged ground battlefield and a lot of topdeck mode, with flying being an especially powerful ability. Second is the high starting life total means decks going bigger will trump decks going smaller. Third, combo will be by far and away the most powerful strategy, nigh unbeatable until the banhammer comes down on it. Lastly, I wanted to build a list before looking at anything already established in the format, so my card selection can be un-tainted.

This deck has almost every non-land card in one of the 4 categories: Ramp, Interaction, Big Dummies, and Flyers. The linchpin is of course the infinitely well known River Hoopoe. This card has a silly name and a silly ability, but the point is that when topdeck mode comes along I can have so much mana to convert to life and cards. It's the engine for the durdle machine, replenishing life and winning all the topdeck wars. Screw the combo decks, if it happens it happens. I'm just gonna gain 2 life and draw card.
