Enchantment (1)

Yurlok of Scorch Thrash blazes through the Commander scene!

Essentially "mana burn" manifested itself a Viashino Shaman body to play out a game of group hug/ group slug. Having Yurlok of Scorch Thrash at the helm, opponents believe we are "helping" them by providing free mana. In reality, it's the opposite. With permanents that will have opponents heated simply for drawing cards, not spending mana, tapping lands, and not tapping lands - our spicy lizard lord is scheming for ultimate rage-inducing games.

Let the fun begin!

Notable Interactions:

  • Infinite 3-Card Combo: Yurlok of Scorch Thrash + Leyline of Abundance + Sword of the Paruns OR Umbral Mantle! Every time we tap our commander, we generate . Both equipments cost 3 mana to untap equipped creature; therefore leaving us with 1 mana to activate our spicy lizard while giving our opponents 4 mana. Activate this several times for the opponents to build up excess mana and end the turn for a one-shot multi-kill.

  • Activated Abilities: Since we generate a lot of mana, activated abilities of permanents are perfect to dump them all. However, the inclusion of Horizon Stone, Leyline Tyrant, and Omnath, Locus of Mana help mitigate such problems. Below are a list of cards to help the cause.

Cavalier of Flame, Crawling Barrens, Nezumi Graverobber / Nighteyes the Desecrator, Rhonas the Indomitable, Scavenging Ooze, Staff of Domination and Temur Sabertooth

  • X-Spells: Similar to activated abilities, we can dump all our excess mana to cast X-spells. Often times this will generate us the WIN! However, if our board state isn't properly laid out, we are pretty much susceptible to players capable of casting X-spells. Below are a list of cards to help the cause.

Erebos's Intervention, Exsanguinate, Mistcutter Hydra and Walking Ballista
