This is build arround Ashiok, Nightmare Muse with a few counter, disrupt and removal spells. This deck wants to play a long game, make a land drop every turn, and answer all of your opponent’s threats until you run them out cards, look for solutions with Omen of the Sea , and win with a fast with Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger , recast exiled spells of our opponent with Ashiok's -7 ultimate or finish with a Nightmare token army.

Tipps:

General

We want to have an advantage of ressources and reduce opponents ressources with counter magic, disruption spells, board sweepers and spot removals.

Playing countermagic to protect your Ashiok, Nicol Bolas or Kroxa or important removal / disruption spells.

It's sometimes a good idea to keep hand disruption spells and wait for removal targets.

You are able to force your opponent to discard three cards and in mid or late game destroying permanants at the same time:

  1. Play Thought Erasure or Agonizing Remorse
  2. Play or attack with Kroxa
  3. Return any nonland permanent or token to opponents hand he is forced to exile last card in hand.

Ashiok, Nighmare Muse

  1. Use Ashiok -3 when the opponent controls one or more Token and only 1 card in hand. He will be forced to exile his card.
  2. Use Ashiok -3 when the opponent has no hand card and controls a permanent, which forces him to exile this permanent.
  3. When Ashiok enters the Game, you will use his +1 in most cases!

Ashiok's Erasure

  1. Counter always key cards of opponents decks. Decide to remove stuff with removals and sweepers or counter with Sinister Sabotage.
  2. Use Ashiok's Erasure to destroy opponets game plan!

Omen of the Sea

  1. Omen draws one card and srys for total of 4!
  2. Sacrifice omen of the sea only when you want to play an additional spells, otherwise try to activate castle vantress.

Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger

  1. He deals additional 3 Damage when ypu opponet has no card in hand
  2. He is still good when your opponent has 1 card in hand.
