Do you play modern and want to play legacy, but your face keeps slamming into the price tag on duals and you don't want to subject yourself to that kind of fiscal pain?

Good news, this is a (relatively) cheap legacy deck, that's blue and pretty competitive. It's also pretty easy to learn and build into if you've played Grixis or Jund Shadow.

Budget Changes:Both duals in the list can be swapped for shocks of those colors. If you can't get enemy fetches (like Verdant Catacombs or Misty Rainforest), run 4 Polluted Delta, 4 Flooded Strand, and 1 Bloodstained Mire. Flusterstorm can become Stifle (stifle storm, miracle triggers, fetches) or Mindbreak Trap.

Attentive life management is incredibly important and not necessarily easy for most players, since forethought about opponents decks is required.

In the side, abrupt decays are for Chalice of the Void. Deathrite Shaman is in the main for graveyard-based decks (Lands, Dredge, Storm, Reanimator) or decks that require a grindgame, which have a lion's share of the format.
