This deck has done very well for me at FNM, and it takes 1st place very often. Faerie's is very brutal to play against because it is a very controlling archetype. I would say that if you are deciding to make a deck between USA control and U/B Faerie's, faeries is a better option on three levels. 1 is because it controls your opponent while it still gets the damage it needs to get the job done. 2 is because it is a two color archetype. Which means that it is very easy to cast the cards you need without getting screwed of the color you lacking. And it is very easy to have duel lands that do not come into play tapped because of land cards like Secluded Glen. 3 It is very less expensive then the required cards needed in USA control. know in this deck it does require 3 Vendilion Clique and 4 Bitterblossom but still less expensive.

Now the the way that i have come to realize is that faeries does not win off cards like Vendilion Clique and Scion of Oona, but it wins off land animation. Mutavault and Faerie Conclave is the reason this deck does so well. To me it was shocking, but it makes since. Counter a spell, kill a creature and swing with your animated lands, that removal can barley deal with.

Of course most of you know who has ever played faeries or ever played against them, know that a 2nd turn Bitterblossom means that your opponent lost. One of the most key cards in the deck is Bitterblossom. Although i am not going to lie i have died by my own Bitterblossom before and it sucks. But other than that, this is a very solid card.

I hope that everyone comes to realize that faeries are not something to be under estimating. The most powerful creatures of all in the multi-verse. I wish everyone considering making U/B Faerie's, it is the most fun deck that i have played with and I highly recommend it to anyone.
