Just a casual UB Historic deck under 10 USD. Main win conditions is to keep casting Historic spells, mainly in the format of cheap artifacts, and then:
In order to have maximum value from our Historic Spells, we have
Sage of Lat-Nam
,
Rona, Disciple of Gix
, and
Guardians of Koilos
.
The first one enables us to keep our hand fueled, by allowing us to cast cheap artifacts and sacrificing them. For instance, consider
Prophetic Prism
. By casting it and then sacrificing it, we can draw 2 cards and possibly deal two damage using only 2 mana. The same can be done using any other artifact, including
Filigree Familiar
.
With
Rona, Disciple of Gix
, we can use Historic spells on our graveyard once again. Her triggered ability might come in handy sometimes.
Finally, with
Guardians of Koilos
we can recover an Historic permanent and cast it again, triggering
Relic Runner
or
Cabal Paladin
abilities once again. It also can allow us to cast
Rona, Disciple of Gix
once again, triggering the abilities of permanents on the battlefield and also allowing us to recover some cheap artifact from our cemetery.
Also, on the maybeboard are just come cards I thought of adding, but couldn't really fit them in.
