Sideboard

This deck is designed to control your opponent's hand and board presence while casting creatures that create 2-for-1 or 3-for-1 value to grind them out. B has the best removal and disruption available, and blue gives access to Opt, Glimmer of Genius, and Hostage Taker to keep yourself in a positive card state. Scarab God is the mid range win-con. Ruin Raider was weak in playtesting. It forces you to kill yourself, and combined with Siphoned it is overkill. I replaced it with Champion of Wits for Scarab God Synergy. I upped the Aetherborns from 2 to 4. The lifelink is always welcome, and deathtouch makes it a removal spell as well. Easily a 4 of here with The Scarab God giving you 4/4 Deathtouch and Lifelink for 4. I added in Harsh Scrutiny to give you gas against dinosaurs. Getting rid of a Deathgorge Scavenger or Ripjaw Raptor on T1 feels amazing. This deck ultimately felt very well posotioned against all decks in this meta.
