Top 100 and updates —Nov. 4, 2014

My deck made it to the top 100 ranked decks on this site. Thank you for the support!

In any case, I have some changes to the board after experimenting a bit on Monday.

Main:

-2 Bile Blight

+1 Hero's Downfall

+1 Hall of Triumph

Side:

+2 Bile Blight

+2 Marshmist Titan

+2 Sign in Blood

-1 Hero's Downfall

-1 Thoughtseize

-2 Despise

-2 Dark Betrayal

Changes to the main board because Hero's Downfall is versatile in game one, it can take care of anything, other removal for the side board. Hall of Triumph because field buffs for my creatures are very powerful, but redundancies hurt, so 1 of, same with Whip of Erebos.

Marshmist Titan is interesting. He's immune to a lot of removal that is commonly sided against me in game two. Drown in Sorrow, Anger of the Gods, Arc Lightning, Bile Blight and can be put on the the board easier by simply dropping creatures (Which I do quite frequently).

Often times my opponent will have so much removal that Pain Seer isn't very useful, he's often the target of blockers too. Sign in Blood can help with this when I side out the Seers. (It works well with Mishmarsh Titan, since there won't be a chance to Seer into 7 damage)

Removal has simply been adjusted to play against decks i've encountered.

Great deck +1, love the fact that you use one of the most expensive fetch lands in the way you do as nobody ever looks at them as a thinning source anymore. can also annoy people when you play it and they then prepare for the blue counters and control to come in then for you to just say "My fetch land is for thinning but the blue part of it makes me a BADASS!"

By the way to anyone who reads this and thinks "WTF!" i want to point out im slightly insane!

But i think this deck needs to be a bit more prepared for late game as there is no flying or trample to help against small blockers that may come from a token deck or a deck of simmilar build, yes you can partially stop tokens with Bile Blight but if the opponent has a simmilar deck then all they have to do is pull out the big fatso and mash your face in.

@KieranBevan

Thank you. And I think Bile Blight and Boon of Erebos and be handy combat tricks to deal with bigger creatures. You can for example kill a Savage Knuckleblade if it blocks against any 2 power creature with Boon of Erebos (and you still keep your dude), you could kill a Siege Rhino with Bile Blight if they decide to block any of your 2 power guys. However, There's removal to deal with big creatures more effectively. Hero's Downfall and Dark Betrayal are in the sideboard for a reason.

I like this deck idea and want to mix it with white for protection and exile with Fabled Hero and enchantments
