Sideboard

After long tinkering with this deck I have decided it is good enough to make it public. The name is part of the filing I am using for janky-combo ideas for pauper decks.

Without further ado here it is:

What? You don't see it yet?

Okay, let me explain. This deck grinds almost every other pauper deck to death. Tortured Existence is an all-star in recurring creatures but that is not all, if you are doing your job right there is no need for cretures to die on your watch. Here Obsidian Acolyte comes in, it lets you use the otherwise "useless" white mana to protect Crypt Rats and the rest of the team from repeated rat activations.

Kor Skyfisher lets us bounce anything, there are some value lands like Mortuary Mire, creatures like Auramancer and a nasty favourite of mine: Parallax Dementia.

This last enchantment is what this build of Tortured Existence is built arround. It gives you more reach on the offensive and acts like a removal spell. On a pinch it kills the creature in two turns, we don't let it go that far. Kor Skyfisher snatches it back to hand, Obsidian Acolyte makes it pop off while still killing the creature.

Thorn of the Black Rose makes sure that the opponent knows who to bow to. Why are you not laughing? It is funny, I am hilarious. Well, back to the topic at hand, it lets us dredge at the end of turn and at the beggining. If graveyard is looking skimpy it can be full in a single turn, if not it is a free card.

Vampiric Link shuts down an enemy creature (if it can't bring you to 0 health in one hit) and shines when applied to a Crypt Rats. At the very least you are gaining 3 life for each activation (both players+rat). If there is anything else on the board (and there usually is) and you activate it for a few points of damage you can easily get out of reach for most decks.
