This is a theory crafted deck I've been working on for a while. The premise was a mardu control deck nice and simple but it's evolved into so much more with many combos. It seems really flexible but I haven't actually built it in paper. It's a control deck, a combo deck, a life gain deck, and whatever else. It needs some tweaking to get focused but I feel there's something worth building here.

Extra turns, burning people with smasher. Turn and Burn

Combos:

Infinite Turns with Sundial of the Infinite/Lich's Mastery/Platinum Angel + Final Fortune and friends + Mistveil Plains + Sunforger. You can then try and eventually cast Vial Smasher and burn your way with 2 damage per turn (or three if you're using Chance for Glory). Yes, this is hanky. But it happens. This is a motivation to go with 4 color and add green so I'd have have access to Wheel of Sun and Moon but I really hate going more than 3 colors so I'd need a little more motivation.

Infinite turns can also be done with Lich's Mastery/Sundial of the Infinite/Platinum Angel + Isochron Scepter with a Final Fortune tucked under there.

Infinite damage with Paradox Engine + Isochron Scepter with Lightning Bolt/Boros Charm/etc tucked underneath

Infinite counter spells lock with Paradox Engine + Isochron Scepter with Mana Tithe tucked underneath

paradox + Isochron Scepter w/ almost anything tucked under + Blind Obedience + rocks that minimally produce to extort everyone to death

...so many more. I'm lazy and won't fill this out now but will come back and write more combos
