Sideboard

The deck has since changed from a Lich build to more midgame value. I find that dropping a threat with 6 CMC is usually better than a lich, because you are pressuring the board. Also, there are too many slots dedicated just to make the lich work, in terms of protection effects.

This deck is based off Aetherlich and my own ZurtaiLich.

Lacking blue, we do not have stifle abilities. But lets get around that.

Also, this is a proactive gameplan, with some defenses so we dont really need counterspells in blue. Because the commander is IKRA, its lifegain on a stick and it synergizes well with Tymna.

Removal can also be used to kill our own stuff in the case we need to get rid of the Liches

Earlygame:

Drop some dorks and draw with tymna

Midgame:

Drop a payoff and protect the board

Lategame:

Drop Ikra and attack for a huge lifegain
