this deck merges a deck I had been toying with for a while using Altar of the Brood and Cloudstone Curio with either a 0 cost creature such as Ornithopter or Memnite or a self replacing creature like Burning-Tree Emissary. The second one is more conventional (although it is still an extremely fringe deck) is uses Altar of the Brood still but this time with Retraction Helix and either Traxos, Scourge of Kroog or Rusting Golem with a 0 cost artifact. normally these decks use Mishra's Bauble and Mox Opal I only use Mishra's Bauble as it is card filtering and since this is not nearly as artifact based as regular decks Mox Opal will rarely be online. fortunately, for me the is 2 cards that work as a combo piece in both of these versions of the deck Ornithopter and Memnite. I was going to include both of these in the deck anyway and was already splashing blue for Trinket Mage to tutor Altar of the Brood so I figured it just ups the consistency of the deck.
