With a bunch of new cards from Fate Reforged this deck seems to have some potential.
Whisperer of the Wilds - Temur Sabertooth -
Torrent Elemental
along with Kalonian Twingrove - Garruk's Packleader -
Satyr Wayfinder
The basic idea is to get tonnes of creature damage on the battlefield then make it all unblockable with
Torrent Elemental
. - I figure Kalonian Twingrove is the best big creature, with 20 chances at drawing forests in this deck this one card gives the two biggest creatures that keep getting bigger with every land played. So, I've planned the rest of the deck around these cards. I've tried out something like this before FRF, main difference was Roaring Primadox - instead of - Temur Sabertooth and
Icy Blast
instead of
Torrent Elemental
Every card here is good on its own and really good in combination.
Temur Sabertooth along with two open mana and any other creature card can survive any two creatures or protect any other creature by returning it to hand and is vulnerable only to exile. This makes an all creature deck much more interesting to play.
Satyr Wayfinder
is the first target for Temur Sabertooth indestructible ability, cast this card over and over to draw the most lands and fill the graveyard to pay for Hooting Mandrills, a cheap 4/4 with trample creature that also exiles a
Torrent Elemental
from the grave.
Kalonian Twingrove triggers Garruk's Packleader twice, and adds another huge creature token every time it's replayed with a Temur Sabertooth. Same with the Genesis Hydra's.
I can't decide between
Hornet Nest
- Courser of Kruphix -
Boon Satyr
I own four of each,
Boon Satyr
might be the best, it's aggressive, triggers Garruk's Packleader, and with flash adds another possible threat to my open mana. It's also practically immortal with enough mana and a Temur Sabertooth plus any other creature.
Prophet of Kruphix is probaly overkill, I think two is the right number. Even just the vigilance type effect makes
Torrent Elemental
a huge threat.
Against faster decks I plan to try four Feed the Clan's to make up for the slow start.
