Tutors are lame. But tutors for everyone? Hopefully cool!

Cards that work with Maralen extremely well are:

• Exquisite Blood
• Mindcrank
• Ob Nixilis, Unshackled
• Wound Reflection

And I left them all out! Why? Because this is EDH! And EDH is supposed to be casual, and most importantly of all, fun! Not just fun for me, but also for the people I play against.

So I've included some non-typical cards:

• Dauthi Marauder - great when you equip him with Sword of Light and Shadow or Loxodon Warhammer
• Hunter of Eyeblights - people love to put counters on their creatures. Oh, and Cannibalize is a nice combo with the hunter
• Withering Boon - nobody expects this!
• AEther Snap - see above comment about counters
• Nightcreep - so you cast All Is Dust? Aw ..
• Spike Cannibal - awesomeness!

For ramping, since some of the better spells cost a lot:

• Caged Sun
• Magus of the Coffers - my Cabal Coffers is in another deck
• Jet Medallion
• Crypt Ghast

Maralen takes my life round by round, so a little lifegain is nice:

• Deathgreeter
• Disciple of Griselbrand
• Loxodon Warhammer - equip this on Crypt Rats or Pestilence Demon
• Demon's Horn

And for nostalgic reasons:

• Nightmare
• Sorceress Queen
• Everglades
• Wall of Shadows

The rest of the deck should include answers to most problems, plus some cards that are just unique and fun.
