My first attempt at a deck that is fun and not complete garbage while still being legal in standard. I made this from cards that I had available and since I've been away from magic for a while, I need all the help I can get before I go to my first FNM.

I think the combo of Tree of Perdition + Triskaidekaphobia is fun. I decided to splash white, mainly because I also like having the ability to sack the tree or the Fortified Rampart to Ayli, Eternal Pilgram if conditions warrant being unable to get to the primary win condition or needing to buy some more time. I had thought about adding in some Felidar Sovereign for an alternate win condition. I'm not sure that the Morkrut Necropod is necessary. I mainly put it in as a buffer in case the combo hasn't went off by turn 6, but the space may be better used by something else. I also have considered Tainted Remedy.

One big hole is how to deal with pain lands so any advice there would be great.

Also, I really have no clue what to sideboard for this deck. I have only ever played very casual games and am unsure about what to be prepared for.
