This is Version 2.0 of this deck & I'm eternally tinkering with it.

This is a tribal Super Friends deck. Every Chandra & Jaya 'walker is in the deck. All sixteen of them.

With Jaya Ballard, Task Mage leading the way, I should probably have Pyroblast , Incinerate , & Inferno in the deck for flavor purposes since they're what she casts, but I haven't found a good way to get the latter two in yet. Might ought to jam Chandra's Embercat , Chandra's Phoenix , & Chandra's Spitfire if I'm arguing flavor.

There is a quartet of counterspells in the deck in the form of Artifact Blast , Molten Influence , Pyroblast , & Red Elemental Blast because nobody ever sees them coming from the Mono- player, even if they're conditional. I dug out some backbenchers like Lava Blister & Wild Swing to keep people off balance & the deck under budget.

The deck includes some answers for a variety of other decks like Aura Barbs , Chaos Warp , & Tormod's Crypt . Card draw's limited in , but we have a decent amount in Browbeat , Reforge the Soul , Risk Factor , & Wheel of Fortune

Mana base includes dude-lands & a dude mana rock ( Foriysian Totem specifically) just in case I need to have creatures on the board that aren't the proto-'walker I have as the commander. Also included, as per my usual philosophy in monocolored decks, are Desert of the Fervent , Forgotten Cave , & Smoldering Crater since they're lands when I need it or uncounterable cantrips when I don't. Since we have Price of Progress running around, I wanted to limit the amount of damage it would deal, so the deck's light in nonbasics.

The deck usually wants to opportunistically deal damage & eke out incremental advantages where it can until it's time to swing haymakers like Obliterate , Decree of Annihilation , Jokulhaups to empty the board & take over with the 'walkers. Multiple uses of the +2 on Chandra, Awakened Inferno and the bombs on Chandra, Roaring Flame & Chandra, Torch of Defiance do a lot to end the game, too.
