The idea here is to exert early control before applying pressure with efficient creatures. 1CMC hand disruption with Inquisition of Kozilek hobbles the base of the opponent's gameplan; combo enablers, the early game creatures, the accelerators. Path to Exile is perfect for efficiently ridding the battlefield of an early threat. After some color fixing and mana is gathered it's time to play the value engine Leaf-Crowned Elder to cheat a huge army powerful Treefolk like Dauntless Dourbark / Unstoppable Ash with built in Trample deplete the opponents life total; Doran, the Siege Tower makes that happen even faster. Timber Protector is a Tribal lord that buffs Treefok and makes them and FORESTS Indestructible; which is kinda neat if against decks running cheeky land destruction.
