Ok guys.... this deck is now nowhere near what it was like when I started. My initial idea was to have lots of treasure generators and lots of ways to win off of those. The problem with that plan was there was little opponent interaction and not a very good board presence. I’ve gradually taken this deck down the U/B control route and now think it looks a good deck that I’m looking forward to testing out at FNM.
Choices Tezzeret the Schemer provides repeated removal, additional mana, pump, or creature generation. That’s a lot of options for one slot.
Marionette Master is undoubtedly the easiest route to victory as sacrificing five treasures/etherium cells is enough to win.
Hostage Taker helps us to control the board and maintain a decent board presence.
Everything else is pretty standard control stuff. If you’ve any other ideas, leave a comment. As mentioned in my initial description I’m pretty new to standard and any advice is always appreciated.

I haven't uploaded it to tapped out yet, but I'm building a similar deck that uses dire fleet hoarder, along with claim//fame and marched of the drowned for recursion. I use costly plunder and ruthless knave to sac it for the most value

jason31502 that sounds like an interesting idea actually. Post a link when youve got it online :-)

I wouldn't cut Revel in Riches completely, I'd maybe go for 2?
Love the Torment of Hailfire also.

geekoftheages, I'm about to make a list, but my friend thinks I should make a grixis revel in riches removal mid-range deck, which sounds better to pilot, that or a more creature treasure production deck?

Aragon_Neotrix when Ive played When I had marionette master, mechanized production and revel in riches, i found that Revel in Riches was the worst one. It needs two more treasures than Mechanized Production and five more treasures than Marionette Master

jason31502 I definitely think the grixis version would be better than a creature heavy version

For card draw maybe go Vraska's Contempt over Hour of Glory. Also Id drop Tezz altogether and run a play set of Siren Stormtamer for early flyer damage and blocks plus equipping them with the Prying Blade early on would be beneficial for token gen. Ive been tinkering a bit but I love the idea for sure!

Very cool idea! I know nothing about standard but I really like this deck. I tried to build something similar for commander! By the way i did not know Marionette Master! I'll probably be adding him to my commander! It's nice to have lots of wincons! If you all would like to see my commander list: Yo-ho Yo-ho it's a Pirate's life for me!!
