After Playtesting Changes —Oct. 8, 2017

So after playing the Deck a few times, Ive made a few changes. 4 Revel in Riches was too much, ended up with them stuck in my hand. Spell Swindle also got stuck in my hand as it left me caught between holding up mana and trying to advance the board state. Tezzeret the Schemer was good as a consistent form of removal. the changes I've made are to try and reduce the mana curve as there were too many 5 & 6 drops, even with the treasures that i was producing. Low creature count means we don't suffer too much from the Bontu's Last Reckoning which will be good fuel for Revel in Riches and help keep us from being overwhelmed. Won't be able to test again until i get the Treasure Map  Flips but think this looks like it will play better. As usual, any extra advice/insights are appreciated.

A few things that synergize nicely (on paper anyway) are Marionette Master for an alternate win con if you sac 5 treasures with her out. Treasure Map is a nice way to get three treasures at instant speed (if you activate it with 2+ counters on it and flip) and the flip side allows you to sac a treasure to draw which can also help feed back into the Marionette Master.

I'm trying something similar, but because I love stupid plays, I want to put Glorious End into mine. This is a very streamlined approach to something I want to do, and I appreciate the fact I am not alone for a Standard Treasure deck.

Thanks guys. I'm definitely going to make room for some Marionette Masters looks way too good to overlook.

This deck is nice idea and I was thinking of making something similar but it honestly needs draw. You're running an alt wincon deck and only running 2 draw spells??? Its crazy and its the main reason the deck fails.

For Draw I'd suggest maybe either Opt or Hieroglyphic Illumination

Sorry for double post but I also just noticed your running 4 Revel in Riches and 4 Depths of Desire when they honestly don't synergise together that well. I understand Depths of Desire still gets you treasure but it also doesn't kill the creature which makes it cause problems later. I'd maybe run 2x Walk the Plank or 2x Fatal Push and 2x Depths of Desire Instead just because then creatures stay off the board and you can trigger Revel and get treasure cheaper

Aragon_Neotrix hey friend, thank you for the insights. I've actually not managed to play this yet. Waiting for my partner to finish her standard deck. Once I've playtested a little I'll definitely consider your suggestions. I quite like the depths as I get the treasure whether revel is around or not and it also means I'll have an opportunity to Spell Swindle something if it got to the board the first time. Thanks again :)

I removed all Depths of Desire from my deck aswell, to draw card's i use Siren's Ruse which can do 3 things for 2 mana: save a pirate, draw a card and produce a treasure (if used on Sailor of Means for example)

You can also add Chart A Course, for example you attack with Dire Fleet Hoarder, if it dies you get a treasure and, regardless of that, you draw 2 cards for 2 mana and you could also use Heartless Pillage to get another treasure and ur opponent gotta discard 2 cards for 2 mana. it's a nice play on turn 4-5 for example
