the curve is way off. it can win if they are running something a bit slow, but anything quick and your a sitting duck. I would look to swap out some Deadeye Plunderers with something that is a one drop, like 2 Siren Stormtamer. You could also pull 2 Prosperous Pirates and replace it with 2 Skittering Heartstopper. Bring the curve down and some answers at the same time. 2 counterspells on a flying stick and 2 deathtouchers on a trigger.

Hey there, I just drafted an Ixalan deck very similar to this. One thing I can tell you is that it is much more powerful and fun that it seems (I still wouldn't say it's competitive, but definitely a strong casual deck). The first piece of advice I can give you is to reduce your number of 4+ cmc cards down from 24 to about 10 or so. Yes you can ramp with treasures, but you currently don't have many treasure making cards that are low on your curve.

I would suggest starting by cutting Deadeye Plunderers as it seems slow and a bit underwhelming. Replacing a few Spell Swindles with Lookout's Dispersal is probably a good idea as well. You probably want to go with the full playset of Opt, the card is just too good. cutting a few of your ETB pirates for Siren's Ruse is a great way to reduce your cmc without reducing the number of ETB triggers. It's also good evasion and draws you a card which is nice. Another card to consider with all your treasures is Herald of Anguish.

Finally, the most important piece of advice I can give you here is to consider using red. By far the best card in the deck I drafted was Makeshift Munitions. Revel in Riches just seems too slow for standard (EDH is a whole different story). Red also gives you access to Captain Lannery Storm, Wily Goblin, and Kari Zev, Skyship Raider which is pretty cool with Prying Blade. To be clear, I am not saying you should follow all of my advice here. I encourage you to be original and try new things, but this is what I have to say given the experience I had playing a similar deck. If you would like to see what my version of the deck would look like, check out Pirate Booty.

I thought about a more control deck than te r/b one. I'l keep it blue but I added some cards of yours that were good. I adjusted the curve and I tested it with my friends, and I won vs other fun and aggro decks. I still don't know if it can be competitive but I don't think so :C
