This list is more or less your traditional Simic list. It has mana acceleration, large threats, disruption, and the capability to present a dangerous board presence. The big finishers of the deck include Pelakka Wurm and Sifter Wurm both of which are 7/7 trample creatures that generate card advantage and gain life.
To “combo” with the sifter wurm, this deck runs a single copy of Omniscience as a potential source of substantial life gain. Additionally, given the mana acceleration available in this deck, it is not unlikely that we actually cast it.
In terms of mana acceleration, the deck runs a full play set of both Llanowar Elves and Elvish Rejuvenator to keep us on curve.
For early game threats, the deck runs a set of Thorn Lieutenant and a set of Hungering Hydra. Lieutenant is somewhat resilient to removal, replacing itself with a 1/1 elf token if targeted by removal, otherwise just a 2/3 for 2 that can pump itself if you reach 6+ mana. Hydra is an effective blocker and attacker, it can only be blocked by one creature, and whenever it receives damage it gets that many +1/+1 counters.
As far as disruption, just a set of Exclusion Mage in the main board to bounce a dude for 3 mana, leaving a 2/2 blocker behind on our side of the field.
As far as utility, in the main board we have a set of Metamorphic Alteration which we will most likely be using on our Exclusion Mage or Elvish Rejuvenator after we resolve their ETB triggers to then copy Pelakka Wurm Sifter Wurm Hungering Hydra or any other fatty on the field. Additionally, 2 copies of Vivien Reid. Vivien lets us dig through the top 4 for a dude or a land. Her minus 3 takes care of artifacts, enchantments like Ixalan's Binding, or fliers that give us trouble.
